Chateau d'Esclans

Grapes harvested in crates, only in the morning. Sorted-out twice. Maceration at 10-12°C to extract aromas. Vinification in stainless-steel vats. Temperature controlled. "Bâtonnages". This assemblage has been made without barrel fermentation to keep the freshness and all the fruit flavors.

Wine Enthusiast

A delightfully clean and fruity wine, the epitome of Provence rosé. It has fresh acidity, crisp lemon and red currant fruit and just a light sprinkling of spice.

Score: 88. —Roger Voss, July 01, 2013.

Wine Spectator

Taut and pure, with flavors of dried cherry and sage and notes of licorice and pepper. Hints of basil cream feature on the finish. Drink now.

Score: 88. —Kim Marcus, August 31, 2013.
