Wine Advocate
The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino shows off a gorgeous core of dark fruit and a powerful, authoritative personality. Sweet spices, vanillin, herbs, leather and licorice add complexity on the mid-palate, but this remains a decidedly forward Brunello that is probably best enjoyed in its youth, while the fruit retains its richness and depth. A round, enveloping finish rounds things out nicely. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020.

La Fornace offers the kind of Brunello that will make you wish you bought a second bottle. It opens with a bright and cheerful bouquet shaped by various shadings of black fruit and exotic spice. In the mouth, it is still tight and firm so give it a few more years of bottle aging.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
