Booker's Description
The fourth release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2025 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2025-04, “Phantom Pipes Batch”. This batch is named after a curious discovery some of our engineers made in the distillery a few years back: a whole bunch of pipes that don’t lead anywhere at all. The golden amber color is very pleasing to the eye and the nose is pleasant with vanilla notes and wood notes coming from aging in the oak barrel for over seven years. I enjoyed the taste which is well rounded and has a finish that lasts but leaves you wanting another sip.
Whisky Advocate: 92 Points
Named for Booker Noe’s eccentric hobby of tinkering with pipes at the Beam Distillery in Boston, Kentucky. Fragrant and buttery on a warm and inviting nose—fresh cornmeal, French toast, raspberry jam, fiery spice, and oak. The palate is also sweet, buttery, and flavorful, bursting with baked berries, vanilla, ample spice, and drying oats. Plenty of heat, but pronounced flavors. The finish is long and sweet, with the palate’s flavors returning.
