Maker's Mark - 46 Bourbon (750ml)
There are 2 main differences between Maker's 46 and Maker's Mark. The first is that the 46 is aged longer which mellows it out more while adding more flavor. The second is that seared French oak staves are seeped in the bourbon towards the end of it's additional aging process bringing out some even more flavors.
As bold a bourbon as they come. The richest aromas of toasted vanilla bean, custard, and cinnamon stick are all apparent on the nose. Luxurious on the palate with tarte tatin, baked peach cobbler, subtly piquant clove spice, and coffee with cream. Phenomenal.
Maker's Mark Description
Aroma: Pleasant, sweet, toasty oak nose with caramel overtones. More intense aroma without an alcohol nose.
Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points
Finished in the barrel with specially seared oak staves, this Bourbon is a new classic. In the glass, it sports a bright maple color, and lively, spicy aromas and flavors of oaky vanilla and tropical fruit touched with clove, ginger and allspice.
