Aromatics of cedar, bramble and dark berries and a waft of crushed vanilla bean make for a satisfying, and palate stimulating wine. Firm while fine grained tannins keep the wine approachable now with the potential to age.

The 2020 Reserva Beronia is 95% Tempranillo, 4% Mazuelo, and 1% Graciano from Ollauri. Aged up to 18 months in barrels, it presents aromas of sandalwood, vanilla and ripe red and black fruit. Medium-bodied, with plush tannins and sparky freshness, the balanced finish tapers off with oak and chalky flavors. The 2020 is clean and well crafted.

A harmonious version, with a deep underpinning of smoke and warm spices buoying concentrated flavors of cassis and baked cherry fruit, tea rose, thyme and licorice.
