Hints of forest berries with an elegant backdrop of oak and vanilla. Yogev Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz reflects the best of both its varieties: the ripe fruitiness and subtle smoky nature of the Shiraz supported by the backbone, vigor and intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is ready to drink as is, but with proper storage conditions it will age nicely for three to foru years after its vintage date. Oak notes are deliberately negligible in order to bring the flavor of the grapes to the fore.
Binyamina Winery Description
Binyamina Winery was established in 1952 by Joseph Zeltzer, an immigrant to Israel, desiring to to produce wine as he did in Hungary. Initially called Eliaz Winery—after the owner’s son who fell in the War of Independence, it started out in a region considered to be Israel’s wine region.
