Sauvignon Blanc, is predominantly a pale straw with hints of green. The zesty aromas jump from the glass, with highlights of pink grapefruit, melon, and gooseberry. On the palate, flavors of grapefruit, honeydew melon, and passionfruit contribute to the ripe fruit sweetness combined with a tight, fresh acidity. This is a beautifully balanced wine.

We concentrate on aromatic varieties. These are ideally matched to our cool, maritime climate varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir. These wines are about the purity of flavour and balance of acidity you get from a long, cool growing season. Fruit arrives at the winery with 100% of its potential. What is done in the winery determines how much of that is retained. Put simply, don’t meddle too much in the winery! The underlying philosophy is to preserve fruit expression, but also to create wines with palate interest – great texture and mouth-feel.
