Chateau Courbian Description
Located in Begadan, on the west side of the Medoc peninsula, the Château Courbian is owned by Marie-Christine and Claude Greteau. The estate takes his name from the hamlet of Courbian, dating back from 18th century. Originally in polyculture (cereals), the vineyard has been the only focus for the past hundred years, producing a single cuvée.
The Médoc vineyard benefits from a wide variety of soils: sand, gravel, clay, pebbles and stones make up its soil. The great originality of Médoc wines is the fact that they are all made from a blend of several grape varieties. From their union, the richness of the range, the excellence of the vintages and the exceptional qualities which make the reputation of the soil.

The good proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in this wine gives it structure. It is ripe, although the tannins are still very present. This wood-aged wine needs some time. Drink from 2025.
