Chateau Priure-Lichine, Grand Cru Classe based in the hamlet of Cantenac - Commune of Margaux - encompasses around 84 hectares of vines, 24 of which make up the Confidences, which are mainly younger vines. The blend for this wine is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, aged 14 months in 2nd and 3rd pass (3 and 4 year old) barrique.

The red fruit is very appealing here with a wealth of raspberries and mulberries, as well as redcurrant notes. The palate has attractively juicy and succulent red berries and a chalky, piercing finish. Second wine of Château Prieuré-Lichine.
