This Chantegrive white wine is composed of 50% Semillon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc varieties. It is a wine that is designed to be fresh with some mineral notes and lots of fruit. A great, pure white wine that exhales aromas of citrus fruit and jasmin. Aged for six months on the fine lees in stainless steel vats, it is well-balanced and deliciously acidulous, the perfect accompaniment for fish, oysters, shellfish, goats' cheeses, and more.
Chateau de Chantegrive Description
The story of Chateau de Chantegrive begins in 1966 when Henri and Françoise Leveque purchased their two first hectares of vines. Today the property covers 96 hectares and has become one of the most prestigious domains in the Graves appellation. Combining both tradition and modernity, the vineyard gives fine, elegant, distinguished wines that are appreciated for the consistency of their vintages. Limiting the impact of our production on the environment has always been a priority at Château de Chantegrive. In July 2017, HEV3 certification was awarded to reward the work carried out at the property as well as our desire to continuously improve the environmental performance of the estate.

Best Buy
A ripe wine, this is full-bodied with a dense texture and layers of white fruits and toast. The wine's red apple aroma suggests a fresher side to the wine that has a final, crisp edge that will encourage aging.
Vinous: 92 Points
The 2024 Chantegrive Blanc is a richly textured white. Orchard fruit, lemon confit, mint and white pepper open in the glass. Deep and ample, with very good balance, this is quite promising.
James Suckling: 91 Points
Vanilla and lemon curd on the nose with bright acidity and a medium-bodied palate. Tangy, medium-length finish.
