The 2022 Monte Velho Reserva Tinto was produced with a blend of Touriga Nacional, Aragonês, Syrah and Trincadeira, fermented in stainless steel and matured in oak barrels for eight months. It keeps a youthful purple color and a fruit-driven character, with some spices and grip, fine tannins and a balanced mouthfeel. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol and has a medium-bodied palate.
