A beautiful intense red. Distinguished aromas of red fruits and a few woody notes on the nose. The wine reveals itself on the palate with spicy and fruity notes, and delicate smoky and toasty flavors. This is a well-structured wine, which has fine volume accompanied by a certain roundness.

Founded in 1825, Bourgognes Faiveley has been handed down from father to son for over 175 years. As the sixth generation to take the reins, François Faiveley manages, with equal amounts passion and competence, the largest family domaine in Burgundy. Methodically reconstructing vineyards fractured by French inheritance laws, Bourgognes Faiveley today owns more appellations in their entirety (monopoles) than any other domaine in Burgundy.

Dark and concentrated, displaying blackberry, black cherry, tar and charred oak flavors. Feels rustic yet there is a solid core of fruit that emerges on the finish, along with a sweetness. Best from 2023 through 2038.
