The rarest Chassagne Morgeot rouge from Jadot. 2017 was the first full crop in the Cote d'Or in almost 10 years. There was almost no sorting or triage to be done, a perfectly healthy harvest in which the wines practically made themselves. The 2017s remind many of us of the pretty and charming 2014s, no rough edges and plush silky texture full of pleasure.
Louis Jadot Description
2017 is the first and last vintage that we produced Morgeot (Domaine Louis Jadot) in Pinot. This is a 0.5 hectare-vineyard, and the vines were located in the Lieu-Dit: Francemont. It was replanted in Chardonnay in 2019, so this bottling is exceedingly rare.
