Louis Jadot Description
Vosne-Romanée has 14 Premiers Crus and 7 Grands Crus. The vineyard land is 320 meters in altitude and faces east–southeast on brown chalk and clay soil with stones. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in open vats for up to 4 weeks, and then the wine is matured for 18 months in oak barrels.

A moderately high-toned and attractively spicy nose consists primarily of red and dark currant aromas cut with hints of lavender and lilac. The sleek, delicious and generous middle weight flavors possess a round and seductive texture though the lingering finish needs to develop more depth to ascend to the next level.
