Le Volte dell’Ornellaia 2023 opens with ripe blueberry and blackberry aromas. Generous and enticing flavours ensue and complement a beautiful balance between breadth and freshness. An enduring finish goes hand in hand with silky tannins that elevate the wine’s elegance.

Cherry, black currant, wild herb, earth and smoke notes grace this succulent red. Balanced, with a firm grip of tannins on the smoky finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

The 2023 Le Volte dell'Ornellaia is a total delight. Fresh, aromatic and vibrant, Ornellaia's Sangiovese-based blend delivers the goods in an affordable package. A burst of bright, red-toned fruit opens first, followed by scents of tobacco, cedar and dried herbs. This classy, polished red is very nicely done. There's a bit more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend these days, and it works quite well.
