Mountain Peak is the winery's flagship wine. A special blend of 4 different grape varieties. The grapes were harvested from the oldest and finest plots of the winery. The blend was composed from the best barrels in the winery's cellars, and the wine aged for about 22 months in new French oak barrels. The result is a rich wine, fruity, heavy and balanced.
Tura Estate Winery Description
Tura is a winery located on a family estate (estate winery). Its founders are Vered and Erez Ben-Saadon. For a winery to qualify as an estate winery, it must own its own vineyards. In addition, the wine must be produced on the premises of the winery from the time of fermentation, aging and bottling. The vineyards are not required to adjoin the winery, but must be geographically located in the same area.
Wine Spectator: 90 Points
A modern, plump style, with baked cherry and raspberry paste notes set against a firm wall of tannins. Mocha, licorice snap and toasty cedar hints hover in the backdrop, while freshness from the savory acid structure makes for a snappy, salty finish, with real grip. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Kosher.
