A very nice ruby color. Intense aromas of black cherry. Very rich on the palate with delicate expressions of dark berry fruits. The texture is pure and elegant, with very fine tannins and a beautiful structure. This wine can be kept for 20 years or more.
Domaine Antonin Guyon Description
Aloxe-Corton is located in the Northern part of the Cote-de-Beaune. Its vineyards benefit from exposures ranging from East to South. The Corton is the only red Grand Cru of the Cote-de-Beaune. Hand harvested, the grapes are then carried in small boxes and sorted out upon arrival at the winery. Long fermentation during 20 days in wooden open vats with punching down of the cap and temperature control. Aging is done in oak barrels (40% new), and bottled at the estate after 18 months.
